Drinnen und Draußen, Gebäude | Sunny 16 #2 (Set 1/6)

Auch wenn ich nicht mehr weiß, was ich genau mit den Fensterfotos ausdrücken wollte und ob ich wirklich wollte, dass bis zu 50 % der Bilder komplett schwarz sind, so finde ich sie trotzdem ganz atmosphärisch. Gerade das Bild, wo die Klinke sehr mittig sitzt, mag ich gern. Der Kontrast wirkt für mich.

Vor einigen Monaten bin ich mit einer Freundin, die neu eingestiegen ist in die Welt der analogen Fotografie, auf eine kleine Fototour gegangen. Mich fasziniert Typographie und so kam das „Allerlei am Markt“ mit auf den Film. Leider etwas unscharf (ich bin an der Ursachenbehebung dran) und ganz zufriedenstellend konnte ich die Buchstaben in ihrer Umgebung nicht einfangen. Die 66c hat keine besondere Bedeutung. Auch hier war es wieder die Typographie, die mich die Kamera hat zücken lassen.

Last but not least, der Görgesbau. Jedes Gebäude der TU Dresden hat einen eigenen Namen, der auf -bau endet (zumindest war das so meine Beobachtung bisher auf dem Hauptcampus)). Ich hatte sogar die Idee, alle Gebäude bzw. deren Namen zu fotografieren, aber umgesetzt habe ich sie bisher nicht.

Der „Görgesbau“ – welch fotografische Überraschung für mich! Es dämmerte bereits und ich hatte schon Sorge, dass es zu dunkel sein könnte für ein gescheites Foto. Probiert habe ich es trotzdem – ich hatte einen Film mit ISO 400 drin und damit war es nicht die schlechteste Bedingung für diese Lichtverhältnisse, dachte ich mir. Nachdem ich das Ergebnis gesehen habe, klopfte ich mir dann doch selbst auf die Schulter, dass ich das Licht (der dämmernden Sonne, aber auch der Lampen an den Wänden) gar nicht so schlecht abgeschätzt habe. Und die Typographie muss ich nicht mehr erwähnen, oder?

Inside and outside, buildings

Although I’m not sure what it was that I wanted to express with the photos of the windows and whether it should like how it looks now on the pictures (up to 50 % being completely black), I think they convey a certain atmosphere. Especially the one where the handle is in the middle of the picture is nice to me. The contrast catches me.

A few months ago a friend who just entered the world of analogue photography, and I went on a small photography tour. Typography fascinates me and that’s how „Allerlei am Markt“ („Potpourri at the marketplace“) got on my film. Unfortunately the words are not in focus (I’m on my way to fix the root cause) and I am not completely content how I captured the words. 66c doesn’t have a particular meaning to me. It was typography as well which made me shooting this.

And last but not least: Görgesbau. Every building on the campus of TU Dresden has its own name and actually I had the idea to photograph all buildings, or the their names to be more precise. But so far, this remained an idea only.

Görgesbau was a photographical surprise to me! It was dawning already and I was afraid that it could be too dark already to shoot a proper photo. Nonetheless, I gave it a try – I had a film with ISO 400 in my camera and thought this is not the worst condition to shoot at dawn. When I saw the result, I clapped myself on the back for estimating the light kind of correct. And I don’t have to mention the typography, do I?
