Tauche ein in die faszinierende Welt der Reptilien. Oder komme mit in die Wasserwelt!
Geckos als Haustiere ist meiner Meinung nach eine ungewöhnliche Sache, aber warum auch nicht, oder? Vorstellen möchte ich heute diese sehr farbenfrohe und aufgeweckte Gecko-Art: Phelsuma klemmeri. Eine tagaktive Spezies (die meisten Geckos sind nachtaktiv), die ursprünglich von Madagaskar kommt.
Seit ich in Kopenhagen im Aquarium Den Blå Planet war, wurde bei mir eine neue Faszination für die Wasserwelt und die darin lebenden Wesen entfacht.
Hier siehst du deutlich den Unterschied zwischen den nicht-natürlichen Lichtern. Ich habe keine Ahnung, was den Unterschied physikalisch ausmacht, aber er ist deutlich sichtbar. Die Phelsumas kommen leider nicht so gut rüber wie die Wasserpflanzen und haben einen starken Gelbstich. Sorry Phelsumas!

Different worlds

Dig into the fascinatig world of reptiles. Or accompany me into the world of water!
Having geckos as pets is an unusual matter but why not, right? I want to introduce to you this very colourful and lively gecko species: Phelsuma klemmeri. It’s a species which is active during the day (usually geckos are nocturnal) and are originally from Madagascar.
Since I’ve been to the aquarium Den Blå Planet in Copenhagen I’ve been caught by the magic of the water world and its living creatures. It’s so fascinating down there (underseas)!
You see the difference between the non-natural light sources very well in these photos. I have no clue how the light sources are constructed and which parts make the difference but it is very clear that there’s a difference in the effect. The Phelsumas have a very yellowish colour and thereby are not as nice as the colours from the water plants. Sorry Phelsumas!

Es spiralt so schön! Die drei Fotos der Metallspirale (ist ein Fahrradständer) wurden mit verschiedenen Blendenstufen fotografiert. Das siehst du daran, dass mal nur der nahe Teil ist (1. Foto) und mal der nahe und der ferne Teil scharf sind (3. Foto). Auch bei den Treppenstufen ist erkennbar, dass der scharfe Bereich unterschiedlich groß ist. Siehst du es auch?
Ich finde übrigens das unterbelichtete Foto der Spirale, wo der Hintergrund sehr dunkel ist (1. Foto), am spannendsten.

By the side of the road

Nice spiralling! The photos of the spiral (which is a cycle rack) were taken with different apertures. You see that by comparing the 1st photo and the 3rd one. In the 1st photo only the part which is closer to the camera is sharp whereas in the 3rd photo the whole spiral is sharp. The same effect is visible for the stair cases, the size of the sharp region is different. Do you see it as well?
By the way I like the underexposed photo of the spiral (1st photo) the most where the background is very dark.

Die Bilder der Bäume und der Hausfassade wirken etwas verloren und ich bin enttäuscht, wie sie geworden sind. Ich weiß nicht ganz genau, welches Gefühl ich einfangen wollte – ich hab es nicht geschafft. Vielleicht war es eine gute Idee in meinem Kopf, die aber noch nicht gut umgesetzt wurde.
Offenes Fenster feat. Teetasse gefallen mir ganz gut.

Courtyard

The pictures of the trees and the front of the house are somehow lost and I am disappointed how they turned out. I don’t know what kind of feeling I wanted to capture – I didn’t manage to do it. Maybe it was a good idea which I wasn’t able to realize yet.
The photos of the open window feat. cup of tea are fine to me though.
